How to Rewrite a Script (and make it BULLETPROOF)

People ask me about re-writing scripts all the time, so I’m doing a workshop about how to do it. Here is all the info:

Bulletproof: Writing is Re-Writing

In this workshop students will rewrite the most recent draft of a pre-existing pilot script they’ve written based on their own original idea. All aspects of the process will be covered, such as solving story problems, crafting dialogue, punching up jokes, and simplifying. The class will be run as closely to a real writers' room as possible, with feedback from all students encouraged, as this is part of the actual sitcom writing process. Students will walk away with an additional set of tools to help them take their writing to the next level.

What you have is good. Keep making it better, until it’s bulletproof.

Workshop size is limited, and it meets for 4 sessions Cost is $300.

TIME: Wednesdays, 6-9 PM PST. On Zoom.

DATES: November 8, 15, 22, 29
