CONSULTATION SERVICES:

I’ve been writing for television for almost two decades, and been involved in the writing of almost 100 episodes that have made it to air.  I’ve also been teaching classes in how to write spec scripts and pilot scripts for almost a decade, which has meant reading hundreds and hundreds of scripts. Point is, I know my way around a TV script.

I’ve also done stand-up for 25 years, improvisational comedy for over 30 years, and written, performed and taught sketch comedy for over years. I mean, AMA.

SPEC SCRIPT/ORIGINAL PILOT CONSULTATION: $350

You’ll send me your script. I’ll read it ahead of time. Then we’ll meet up on Zoom, and discuss. Meetings usually take 60-90 minutes, but go as long as they need.

I’ll read your script, and I’ll give you specific, applicable feedback on story, characters, dialogue, style, and format (as well as grammar and punctuation, if you want. Sometimes if you don’t want, but just because I can’t help myself. I know, annoying…) I’ll probably even pitch you some jokes, some of which might actually be funny. You’ll walk away with my thoughts on what is working, and what could be better. I’ll give you my ideas on how to make it better.

ORIGINAL PILOT STORY BREAK/ STORY RE-BREAK: $175

We can also break a story with something you already have, or you can bring me a story you’ve broken and we can go through it and make sure the structure is sound. Again, any meeting for this would run 60-90 minutes, maybe a little longer.
